APPLETON IRRITATED DESPITE PICKING UP A POINT

BLACKPOOL manager Michael Appleton cut a frustrated figure despite seeing sub Theo Corbeanu rescue a late point for the Tangerines.
A week ago, Blackpool had battled back from 3-1 down to salvage a point against local rivals Burnley.
While the equaliser came later this week, Appleton was more isappointed at the outcome, having controlled large periods of the game. He said: “Obviously two 3-3 draws on the bounce is exciting for the fans.
