HITMAN PIROE’S FOCUS IS ON THE SWANS

JOEL Piroe believes Swansea have established a strong foundation on which to build a successful 2022-23 season.
Dutch striker Piroe, 22, arrived in south Wales from PSV last summer and has topped 20 league goals in his maiden campaign.
That form has seen him linked with a move away from the club, but Piroe – who picked up Swansea’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award last week – is firmly focused on driving the Swans forward next season.
“It (the award) is a nice way to round off the season, I am very proud and very pleased,” he said.
