TIGERS HONOUR CHILTON

HULL have renamed the East Stand at the MKM Stadium after “true legend” Chris Chilton.
The forward, who passed away in May last year, played for his hometown club for 11 years between 1960 and 1971 and scored 222 goals in 477 outings, helping the Tigers win the Division Three title in 1965-66.
Club chairman Acun Ilicali said: “We have started a new era at the club, but we must always remember to honour the efforts and achievements of those players that have helped to build the history of Hull City.
