SERRANT’S DELIGHT AT EXILES GIG

JAMES Rowberry believes Carl Serrant will fit in well at Newport.
Serrant, 46, was appointed assistant manager of the Exiles this week after five years with Cardiff City.
Rowberry said: “I’m delighted to welcome Carl to our club. He brings experience and complements our current staffing structure. I thank Cardiff for allowing this process to happen smoothly.”
Serrant added: “I’m delighted to be here. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but once I had the conversation with James it’s something I didn’t want to turn down.”
