AWAY-DAY FANS WILL AID STAGS

MANSFIELD striker Rhys Oates hopes the club’s supporters can continue to spur the team on as they go almost a month without a home game.
The Stags recorded a 2-1 midweek victory over Colchester at Field Mill, with Oates named man of the match after opening the scoring with a stunning solo effort.
The 27-year-old said: “The fans have been amazing here. They spur us on until the last minute, they’re like a 12th man. Credit to them.
“It’s a great feeling having a few thousand people sing your name. It gives me confidence.”
