LADAPO REQUEST SHOCKS WARNE

ROTHERHAM boss Paul Warne has been left surprised after Freddie Ladapo handed in a transfer request.
The club’s record buy, who signed for £400,000 in 2019 from Plymouth, informed the club he wanted to leave last Sunday and the club have reluctantly accepted it.
Forward Ladapo, 28, is out of contract in the summer, but there is a year’s option in the club’s favour which they will exercise to strengthen their hand when it comes to commanding a possible fee.
