MADINE SO GRATEFUL TO MEDICS

BLACKPOOL striker Gary Madine has paid tribute to the club’s medical staff following his return from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The 31-year-old, who underwent surgery on a groin issue over the summer, scored his first goal of the season against Preston last weekend.
“I’d really like to thank the medical staff for all of their support over the past nine or ten months,” said Madine.
“I’ve had a tough year injury-wise, and they’ve all worked incredibly hard to get me back on the pitch. I’m grateful to the doctor, physio and my surgeon for all of their work in helping me.”
