COWLEY’S DOUBLE WHAMMY

PORTSMOUTH have suffered an injury blow with the losses of Paul Downing and Ellis Harrison, although boss Danny Cowley hopes they will only be absent for weeks and not months.
Defender Downing, 29, has suffered a hamstring injury and striker Harrison, 27, a badly swollen ankle.
Cowley said: “We’ve had the scan results back and they’ll be out for the foreseeable future – hopefully weeks rather than months.
“Paul is slightly in front of Ellis. We’ll see how they come through their rehab.”
