WOODY’S HAILED BY ROBINSON

AFC WIMBLEDON boss Mark Robinson has lavished praise on captain Alex Woodyard for his performances in the centre of midfield for the club.
The 28-year-old returned to his old stomping ground of Lincoln City in midweek, helping the Dons to a first win in five games.
“He told me recently he thinks he’s in the best form of his career,” said Robinson.
“He is doing wonders for us – he was brilliant not just against Lincoln, but the last 21 games of last season.
“He has carried that on this campaign.”
