MANSFIELD striker Oli Hawkins is looking forward to playing at centre back if injuries continue to take their toll on the Stags’ squad this season.
The 29-year-old has been deployed in that position before and the former Portsmouth player did so again in last weekend's goalless draw at high-flying Leyton Orient.
Hawkins joined Mansfield having made 20 league appearances for Ipswich last season, scoring one goal.
