ROVING POVEDA HUNGRY TO SHINE ON LOAN

BLACKBURN’S new loan signing Ian Poveda has been backed by his parent club Leeds to “make an impact” at the Premier League side in the future.
The 21-year-old winger will look to get more game time under his belt during a season-long loan spell in the Championship with Rovers, having made 20 appearances for the Whites.
Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta said: “We feel Ian can make an impact here in the future and we’ve been very impressed with how Blackburn have developed players such as Harvey Elliott at Liverpool.
