WOODY’S TIPPING MEPHAM

BOURNEMOUTH boss Jonathan Woodgate has backed Chris Mepham to make Wales’ squad for this summer’s European Championship despite a lack of game time.
Steve Cook and Cameron Carter-Vickers have been the preferred centre-back pairing for Woodgate, but he praised the 23-year-old Mepham’s attitude.
“All he can be at the minute is a just a top pro and doing his work week in, day in, day out,” said Woodgate.
“His attitude has been great. He went away with Wales and performed then in games with them.
“He’s got the Euros to look forward to.”...
