THE EFL are keen that the rejected European Super League plans should open the door for wider reforms in football in this country.
After an avalanche of criticism from across the football and political arenas, English football’s so-called ‘Big Six’ – Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham - withdrew their intentions to join the money-bags ESL in midweek.
