JOHN Akinde does not mind if he has a strike partner or not.
The 31-year-old has played in different systems this season as injuries have hit Gillingham.
He said: “Whether you are playing on your own or with a partner, as a striker you have a responsibility to do well.
“You still need to hold the ball up and score goals. Whether there is one or two strikers…you have to do your best.”
