IT’S going to be fascinating to see how Dean Holden fares in the Bristol City hotseat over the course of this season – and he’s certainly got off to an encouraging start I know Dean from my time working in recruitment and opposition analysis at the Robins under Lee Johnson and he was a very likeable, articulate, popular figure with no ego, and he got the nod ahead of many others for the No.1 role, notably Johnson’s other assistant Jamie McAllister.

He has surrounded himself with a strong backroom team in my former Wolves teammate Paul Simps...
