PHIL Parkinson is an unfortunate casualty of Sunderland’s change in ownership. I’m sure he knew the sack was coming. I’ve experienced it twice now, at Newcastle United and then at Blackburn Rovers. When a club changes hands, no manager expects to keep his job. It’s a sad fact of life.
