Palios: I simply had to dismiss Jackson!

MARK Palios insisted Tranmere do not have the luxury of time after sacking manager Mike Jackson following a single-penalty defeat to Morecambe.
The Super Whites have lost four out of the last five games and slipped to 18th in League Two after losing to the Shrimps.
Speaking to the media minutes after Jackson was dismissed, chairman Palios said: “I appointed Mike because he is an excellent coach who had some forward-thinking ideas and had played a big part in two promotions under Micky Mellon’s tenure.
