Work ethic of strikers was vital, says Artell

DAVE Artell praised the tireless work of his frontmen for laying the foundations for Crewe’s first win of the season.
Summer signing Mikael Mandron set the Railwaymen on their way with a fine header, but it was the former Gills striker’s work rate that impressed boss Artell along with similar endeavours from Owen Dale and Charlie Kirk as well as midfielder Oliver Finney, who also netted.
