WHEN Hull sold Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen in January, it was a calculated gamble on the part of owners Assem and Ehab Allam.
Safety looked all but assured. Parachute payments were gone. What better opportunity to get shot of big wages, balance the books and generally clear the decks for any prospective new owner?
