DARREN Moore declared Doncaster Rovers’ triumph over Wycombe Wanderers as the best of the season.
Goals from Niall Ennis and Kieran Sadlier, plus an own-goal from Jason McCarthy, helped Rovers ride out a difficult start.
Adebayo Akinfenwa had equalised for Wycombe early in the second half but the hosts were unfazed as they returned to winning ways after back-to-back defeats.
