FLEETWOOD boss Joey Barton believes the capture of the experienced Glenn Whelan is a massive coup for the club.
After having already secured deals for 22-year-old Everton midfielder Callum Connolly on loan and 24-year-old Leeds full-back Lewie Coyle permanently earlier this month, Barton added reliable steel to his side on Friday by bringing the 36-year-old midfielder to Highbury.
