STAR MAN ALEX CAIRNS Fleetwood

KEEPER Alex Cairns performed well between the sticks for Fleetwood, saving an 87th minute penalty from Jonson Clarke-Harris to earn his side a point against Bristol.
Manager Joey Barton had advice for Cairns after the match: don’t cut your toenails.
Barton said: “I think Alex saved with a toenail! I’ve told him not to have them cut before we play our next game against Coventry! “It was never a penalty, but sometimes referees seem to think they need to make something happen in a game like that.
