MORTON IN RECALL BY THE ROBINS

CHAMPIONSHIP
BRISTOL City have recalled midfielder James Morton from his loan spell at League Two Forest Green Rovers.
Morton made 17 appearances for Forest Green in all competitions, contributing four assists and scoring a penalty during their shootout victory over Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup. He started just seven League Two games, though, and was sent off in the 0-0 draw at Carlisle United.
The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Non-League Bath City, signed a four-year contract with the Robins in September. Forest Green said:
