Whitaker: I want to be the next Macc boss

MACCLESFIELD caretaker-boss Danny Whitaker admits he would love the chance to take the reins at his local club, despite the catalogue of financial problems.
The crisis club’s legendary midfielder took charge after Daryl McMahon’s resignation on Thursday, and Whitaker oversaw their first win since October, as they beat Cambridge United.
