Sol sees a ray of Southend sunshine

FREDDIE Ladapo bagged a second-half equaliser to deny Sol Campbell’s Shrimpers their first home League win of the season. Goals from Jason Demetriou and Sam Mantom had seen Southend cancel out an own goal from Rob Kiernan to take the lead.
But Rotherham striker Ladapo’s effort on the hour mark meant the game ended all square. That strike was a bitter disappointment for the hosts, although Southend boss Campbell was far from downbeat.
