KEITH CURLE knows how vital Alan McCormack is to Northampton.
The 35-year-old midfielder completed 90 minutes for Town in the win over Grimsby last week for the first time since joining from Luton in the summer.
Curle said: “Alan is obviously an important player for us and we have been following a careful return to playing protocol for him after he was injured against Walsall.
“We have been gradually building his minutes up and he got through 90 minutes on Saturday. He was looking fit and strong and he turned in another excellent performance.”
