DANIEL Johnson is happy that no one is talking about Preston as promotion contenders – but the squad firmly have their eyes on the Premier League.
Preston have not played in the top flight since 1961 and, with 22 points from their first 13 games pre-weekend, they are firmly in the mix. Manager Alex Neil, below, has been in the Deepdale dugout since 2017 and his squad are creating an identity.
