CITY MOVE PAYS OFF AS ASHLEY GETS CALL

RECALL: Ashley Williams has been selected by Wales boss Ryan Giggs

DEFENDER Ashley Williams has been recalled by Wales for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Slovakia and Croatia.
The 35-year-old, the longtime Welsh skipper, was left out of the squad to face Belarus and Azerbaijan last month, having started the season without a club.
However, his move to Bristol City in late August has paid off with first-team action and encouraged Wales manager Ryan Giggs to bring him back into the fold.
