GARRATT GOES AS CREWE’S PATIENCE RUNS OUT

THE door has been opened for a new number one at Gresty Road after Ben Garratt failed to put pen to paper on a new contract at Crewe this week.
The 25-year-old has made 255 appearances for the Railwaymen but will need to find a new club this summer after some indecision led the club to withdraw their offer.
Manager David Artell said: “We made Ben an offer a long time ago and I understand people need time to think things over and reflect on thing.
