JOE Rothwell is an “exciting talent” with a bright future, according to Blackburn Rovers boss Tony Mowbray.
The 24-year-old, who started his career at Manchester United, scored his first goal for Rovers in the midweek win against Derby as they bounced back from three defeats. Mowbray praised Rothwell’s contribution, saying: “Danny Graham’s strength created it and Rothwell ran in behind and finished it.
