ROSS BIDS TO KEEP VITAL DUO

JACK Ross hopes to keep hold of his star players when the transfer window opens and has not ruled out bringing new faces into the club.
Midfielder Lynden Gooch, 22, and striker Josh Maja, 19, who had scored 13 goals going into yesterday’s game at Portsmouth, are just two players being courted by other clubs.
Ross said: “Hoping is probably a good word to describe it. I believe both players want to stay at the club and they both understand this is a great club to be at.
