BARKER POSITIVE ON CLARK

CHAMPIONSHIP
ROTHERHAM assistant manager Richie Barker believes injured central defender Clark Robertson is moving closer to a first team return.
The international break gave the former Blackpool defender, 25, extra recovery time and he has been edging towards a first team comeback after returning to training.
Barker said: ‘It will be important for him mentally as well as physically to be able to complete what is asked of him in an 11 v 11 game.
‘He can hopefully come away from that both physically tested, but also in terms of his confidence with his (groin) injury.’
