RONAN Curtis received the plaudits from manager Kenny Jackett as Fratton Park bowed down to a new Portsmouth hero.
The Irishman scored two and set up another as Pompey cruised to victory over Plymouth.
Jamal Lowe etched his name on to the scoresheet to continue his remarkable start to the campaign but it was Curtis who stole the show.
And Jackett commended the winger’s quick transition into League One.
