GRUBB: I OWE IT TO THE BOSS

FOREST Green midfielder Dayle Grubb is keen to repay the faith shown in him by manager Mark Cooper.
The 27-year-old signed a new two-year contract with Rovers this week, having impressed after arriving at the club on an 18-month deal from Weston-super-Mare.
“The manager’s shown a lot of faith in me, rewarding me for doing well when I came in last year, and of course it’s great to get the extension and a bit more stability,” Grubb said.
“I want to progress and have a full season here and see where that takes me.”
