MARCUS SET FOR POSH EXIT

PETERBOROUGH chairman Darragh MacAnthony will not stand in the way of star Marcus Maddison leaving the club after the midfielder was placed on the transfer list.
The 24-year-old has been a standout performer this season, netting 12 times. MacAnthony said: “He’s one of the best players offensively outside of the Premier League and the Championship.
“I gave him my verbal assurances that were we to fall short and not gain promotion, I would allow him to leave the club subject to an offer acceptable to the football club, and place him on the transfer list.”
