MISSED: Ray Wilkins

QPR director of football Les Ferdinand has paid a glowing tribute to his former R’s team-mate Ray Wilkins.
Former England international Wilkins died on Wednesday at the age of 61 following a cardiac arrest last week.
As the world of football paid tribute to the former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder, Ferdinand recalled playing alongside Wilkins for the R’s. Aside from playing for QPR, Wilkins also managed the Loftus Road outfit.
