WINGER SAM BACK TO PLAY IT AGAIN

AFC Wimbledon beat the EFL deadline for free transfers on Thursday by signing winger Lloyd Sam, who returns to English football after five-and-ahalf years in America’s MLS.
Sam has been recruited by Dons manager Neal Ardley after 31-year-old forward Cody McDonald suffered a foot injury to leave his side short of cover in attack in their fight to avoid relegation.
The 33-year-old Sam arrives at Kingsmeadow having most recently played for DC United up to the end of the 2017 MLS season, which followed a four-year spell with New York Red Bulls.
