HARRISON Dunk insists the simple approach of Cambridge caretaker manager Joe Dunne will pay dividends in the next couple of weeks after a tumultuous few days.
Former boss Shaun Derry left the club by mutual consent last week, and his ex-assistant manager Dunne subsequently led his side to a 3-2 win away to Chesterfield in his first match in charge on Tuesday.
Cambridge were 14th ahead of this weekend’s clash at home to Grimsby, and winger-turned-leftback Dunk feels Dunne is perfectly placed to lead the club back up the table.
