OMAR Richards has already made an impact this season at Reading, but boss Jaap Stam insists there is much more to come from the defender.
Richards, 19, signed a new deal this week that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2021.
After Richards played in the league victory over Derby last month, Stam has moved quickly to tie down the youngster.
“Omar is a left-back with a lot of quality on the ball, pace and real drive going forward,” he said.
“He still needs to learn and improve, but he’s already showing what he can do and is knocking on the door...
