EFL AND TWITTER SORRY FOR CUP COCK-UP

RED-FACED EFL chiefs have apologised after the latest Carabao Cup draw descended into farce.
Thursday afternoon’s draw was meant to take place live on Twitter at 4pm, but, after four announcements explaining delays due to technical problems, it was finally shown as a pre-recorded video one hour and 45 minutes later.
The competition has suffered from a series of blunders with the draws.
June’s first-round draw was streamed live from Bangkok, Thailand – the home of the sponsors. A list of fixtures displayed on the screen showed Charlton drawn agai...
