STORM Brian did his best to dominate proceedings but the headlines for this one belonged almost entirely to Chey Dunkley.
The central defender took the match ball home with him, claiming the opener he gifted Blackpool alongside his two goals to complete a hat-trick.
His early error gave Blackpool real hope but as the match wore on, Wigan made their class tell. Gary Bowyer’s men weren’t helped by Kyle Vassell being forced off midway through the first half. Without him, the hosts had nobody to hold the ball up.
