LEAGUE ONE
A LACK of goals has been the root of AFC Wimbledon’s problems this term, but Neal Ardley won’t be bringing in a free-agent striker before January.
The Dons were League One’s lowest scorers – with just five goals in 12 games – pre-weekend and striker Kwesi Appiah, 27, is out injured until November.
Ardley said: “We will look for January and see if there is anything we can do, but as it stands we can’t get anything before January. There’s nothing out there.”
