CHELTENHAM Town new boy Jamie Grimes spent time in ‘quarantine’ this week ahead of the new League Two season.
The summer signing from Dover Athletic was forced to stay away from his new team-mates this week due to a bout of flu.
“The lads have been giving me some stick for being put into ‘quarantine’,” said defender Grimes, 26.
“I was told to stay away from the training ground at first and then I was in the referee’s changing room on my own.
“Thursday was the first day I was able to have a conversation with anyone!”
