Coventry City defender Reda Johnson is out for the rest of the reason after he suffered a hamstring tendon injury during Saturday's draw at home to Blackpool.
The 27 year-old has previously struggled with injuries and played in under half of the Sky Blues' fixtures last season.
Coventry manager Tony Mowbray expressed his disappointment at losing Johnson to injury, telling the club's official website, “he's obviously a miss for us, as he's been a man-mountain this year.”
The Marseilles-born defender joined the Sky Blues from Sheffield Wednesday in July 2014 and has 10 caps for the Benin national side.
A statement by Coventry City said that Johnson will be, “monitored by the club's physiotherapy department to help him make a full recovery.”
Coventry City are currently in 4th place in League One and travel to managerless Swindon Town on Saturday.
