Scott Parker signs new Fulham contract

captain Scott Parker has agreed a new one-year-contract with the West London club.

The 35-year-old has made over 80 appearances for the Cottagers since joining from Tottenham in 2013 and has played 24 times this season.

In an interview with the club's official website Parker said “I'm delighted to have signed an extension with the Club. We are all confident that we can make next season a better one, so I do hope you'll join me and the boys again at Craven Cottage”

Parker came through the academy set up at before joining for £10,0000 in 2004. Stints with and followed before the midfielder signed for Tottenham in 2011.

Fulham had a disappointing campaign last season and at one point looked to be in danger of relegation. The West London side ultimately finished up in 20th place but will be hoping for a much better season next year.
