Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy was awarded November's Championship manager of the month award, whilst striker Daryl Murphy was named player of the month.
The Tractor Boys had a fantastic November winning three games and drawing once, picking up impressive away wins by three goal margins against Charlton and Rotherham in the process.
November also saw the return to form of last year's Championship top scorer Murphy. The 32-year old had failed to find the net before the start of the month but went on to score six goals in four games.
Speaking after being given his award, McCarthy praised the recent form of Murphy, telling reporters, “”He had to wait a while for the goals to come this season
“He wasn't doing anything different to last year, it just wasn't happening for him. There were signs it was all coming back though and he certainly had a great November.
“Six goals for us and he played his part in Ireland getting to the European Championships. Hopefully he will have the finals to look forward to next summer, what an incentive that is for him.”
Ipswich face a trip to MK Dons in tomorrow's early kick off.
