MARK Howard believes his experience and knowhow can help fire new club Scunthorpe up the League Two standings. The 34-year-old goalkeeper penned a deal until the end of the season at Glanford Park, after his second spell at Blackpool – where he played 47 games in all competitions – came to an end in the summer.
Besides the Seasiders, Howard counts the likes of Aberdeen, Sheffield United and Bolton among his former clubs, and the ex-Arsenal trainee will now battle 24-year-old Rory Watson for the Iron’s No.1 jersey.
