DARRON Gibson says he is looking forward to “a new challenge” after joining Salford City.
The 32-year-old midfielder has signed with the League Two club until the end of the season.
A former Republic of Ireland international, he started his career with Manchester United and has also had spells at Everton, Sunderland and Wigan.
He played 60 games for United in a seven-year spell and was part of their Premier League-winning squad in 2010-11.
