LEADBITTER ‘PROUD’ TO BE CAPTAIN

GRANT Leadbitter has spoken of his pride at being given the captaincy at Sunderland.
The 33-year-old midfielder, a boyhood Black Cats fan, was handed the armband following George Honeyman’s departure to Hull.
