PORTSMOUTH manager Kenny Jackett says Ben Close is benefiting from his hard work in pre-season.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made an impressive start to the campaign and Jackett has been pleased with his performances. Jackett said: “I’ve always thought that his technique was good enough. It was frustrating last season, but he’s got his head down, worked incredibly hard.”
